Toolbar for Record- and Other Buttons

I watch a lot of training videos. I have to interrupt a lot to write something down.
It is very annoying that the record button is located directly above it. It happens all the time that I unintentionally press "Record" when i want to press Pause or Play.
Unfortunately you can't arrange or remove the buttons differently.
It would be much more advanced if the buttons were located in toolbars and you could dock or remove them at docking positions around the window.

I therefore request the toolbar feature for buttons to control the VLC media player.

It's already there, you can edit the toolbars with the menu Tools -> Customize Interface
