Does the current VLC plugins for Chrome and Firefox support SRT playback? Can these plugins, say re-stream locally so a javascript or similar parser can extract stream metadata? Any thoughts on how stable this currently might be?
Full disclosure, I am a manager type and not a tech expert, so very much appreciate the feedback of those of whom I know about 1% as much!
