Scrobbel to last.fm?

Hello!
I hope I didn't miss anything, but the only topic regarding this subject I was able to find is from 2008. Anyway, as the title suggests, I would like to scrobbel to last.fm again. It worked with my last version of VLC, but since an Update on february 13 it doesn't submit anymore. So far and in accordance with whe link below I tried upgrading to the nightly build 4.0.0 as well as downgrading to 3.0.5 and 2.2.6.
I went to

• Advanced Preferences -> Interface -> Control Interfaces where I set a hook at Submission of played songs to last.fm

and

• Advanced Preferences -> Interface -> Control Interfaces -> Audioscrobbler where I entered my before checked Username, Password and post.audioscrobbler.com for Scrobbler URL.

What am I missing? I understood, that all versions 2.2.6, 3.0.5 and 4.0.0 should allow me to scrobbel. Any help with this problem is very appreciated.

Olright!
I changed nothing since my post, still using 3.0.5. Vetinari, and checked from time to time if it works. Today it started to scrobbel. Why? As said, I changed only one thing, I went to Advanced preferences -> Playlists -> Subdirectory behavious and changed Collapse to Expand, because that is also one of my little problems. But that's it. I'm glad that it's scrobbling, but what could have an affect? If anybody knows, I'm curious.

I'm having the same problem, my last track scrobbled is from january 26. I usually took my time before uptading VLC, and thought it could be because of that, but I updated today and it still isn't scrobbling. I also installed the nightly build 4.0, uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and reinserted all info to scrobble (username, password, scrobbler url, checked the "submission of played songs..." box ), restarted the system several times after doing this things... Even tried changing the Subdirectory behavior as well
But still nothing...
I'm on Windows 10 fully updated, and listen to so much music now in home office that it's a shame it isn't working
