The disk-image got corrupted while downloading. There have been some problems with the server in the last couple of days after the release. Please download the image again. If the problems persits, try another mirror.

I receive the same " No mountable file systems" when I try to install the downloaded 3.0.4 .dmg. Tried several times with the same result.

The recommendation remains the same. Please use a different mirror from www.videolan.org to get the correct package and also please download 3.0.8 as 3.0.4 is prone to known security issues.
