SMPTE-TT Image subtitle on MPEG-DASH

I am finding issue in viewing Subtitle Image that are transmitted via MPEG-DASH protocol. Is SMPTE-TT image supported by VLC playback ? or Under Development ?

I picked the url [url]https://livesim.dashif.org/dash/vod/testpic_2s/img_subs.mpd[/url] from MPEG-DASH forum https://reference.dashif.org. Did any end-up here ?
