input_Slave Status, and what formats are supported?

Hi there, in another thread I'm trying to get mutliple video to play in sync. Trying to educate myself a bit, I've found that I've been trying to use the Input-slave command.

When I dig into the documentation, I note that it says that "This feature is experimental, not all formats are supported." What is the current status of this, and which formats are supported.

All formats are supported. It's rather than not everything can be combined with everything.

So multiple mp4 files should be ok?

It might work. The only case that is really properly supported is subtitle files.
