VLC freezes while skipping to next file in infinite loops if it cannot detect the path of files in a playlist, also using upto 60% of my CPU power on a Quadcore machine. This happens if loop all is enabled. Oddly, with loop all disabled the window closes on its own. A preference "If playlist cannot find more than than "choose your number of" files, stop playlist). Stopping at the end of an empty playlist may only be useful to those without a massively long playlist.
