change the directory name for tracks in a playlist

Hi folks,
I have many playlists which are all from an old drive (which is no longer working) but managed to transfer all my music before it died. However I can not name my new drive the same as the old one, so can not use the playlists...(VLC is unable to open the MRL)

I therefore need to know the following....
Can I change the drive name in the playlists which already exist?
Someone mentioned that i could export the info into a text file and somehow;
1 change the drive names all at once
then
2 import this information back to vlc player.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and how to go about it
or
does anyone have an alternative?

I am a bit green (and old) so i would need fairly comprehesive instructions.
I do hope that someone can help.

I am using windows 10 and an external nas set-up.
