Multiple file playlist, seeing bookmarks?

Hi,
I have a playlist of multiple video tutorials.
How can I make global bookmarks?
When I make a bookmark I have to be in the file that has the bookmark to be able to see it.
So lets say I have 45 different video files that I'm working with. I'm currently on video file number 23, time 356 sek. I make a bookmark. I save playlist.
A couple of days later I would like to resume where I was. I have to go trough the 22 preceding videos and check if my bookmark is there before I find it in the 23:rd.
So is there a way to make vlc read the whole .xspf file and let me know the videos with bookmarks?
I know you can open the .xspf file in a text editor and read the xml code but it would be better to be able to just use videolan or a addon to videolan.
