How to make title not come up upon playing

Is there a way to eliminate the title of the disc from coming up when you open the player, and when clicking on various links. The version I had before on my other computer did not have it come up. I have search through all of the tools and views, but can't figure it out. I assume there is a way.

I see under tools, Current Media Information, General, Title where I can change it and delete it, but when I save it, the title comes right back. Any help is much appreciated.

Preferences (All) -> Interface -> Main interfaces -> Qt -> Show notification popup on track change

Turn if off.
