clearing the File Name drop down box?

Postby Rob in Mi » 10 Jan 2019 17:36

When I open VLC and hit the Media tab on the menu bar then hit the open file... option from the drop down box it opens a box, at the bottom of that box is a File Name drop down menu that when dropped down displays all the videos I have opened recently. My question is can that be cleared? If so how? Thanks in advance! Rob

Guess I should say I am using version 3.0.5

Don't have those options in my VLC ver 3.0.5, maybe because it is a so far unregistered trial version?

I do not have an "open recent media" option nor a "clear" recent media option. I have under the "Media":

Open File
Open Multiple Files
Open Folder
Open Disc
Open Network Stream
Open Capture Device
Open Location From Clipboard
___________________________
Save Playlist to File
Convert/Save
Stream
___________________________
Quit at the end of Playlist
Quit

Does it matter I am using Windows 10?
