How may I see the play controls when Videolan is maximized?

Hello, I know this is a basic question but I don't know how to do this...
When I am playing a movie, I double click on the screen and I see the Videolan is playing the movie in full screen, that is nice.
However, sometimes I need to pause the movie to go out or doing this... and there is no way to see the play controls, unless I double click again the picture... and then I go out from the full screen mode...
I am wondering if could be possible to show/hide the play controls without having to go out from the full screen mode?
How may I do this?

Hi,

controls should appears in fullscreen mode when you move you mouse.
Could you ensure that in "tools" > "preferences" > "show controls in full screen mode" is checked

Accidently u sud have pressed F11 button from ur keyboard while ur vlc was on ur screen.

so just go to ur vlc player ,press F11 ,then u can have ur minimise options
