Oh why oh why can't I combine the sauces?

I suspect ignorance is a factor. How is it that I can open Media-Open Network Stream and enter rtsp://mynet.stream:port/ and then check play another media synchronously and add http://radio.stream and the two streams open up together a treat.

However I'm trying to make a shortcut to the combined streams and the crap I am doing is not working. Here is my latest attempt syntax. "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" "rtsp://domain.net:554 --input-slave="http://radio.net/station" I've got to the stage where I thought it would be stupid not to ask if I can even do what I'm trying to, and if so does anybody know how? Thanks
