VLC cant see Windows 10 Media

Hello people,

Some time ago I set up my Media Streaming service on my windows 10 computer and I was able to connect from Amazon FireStick VLC app and also from my iphone VLC app to it.

After some time (probably after some windows 10 updates) this stop working, I thought I was a bad setup on Windows 10, however my Ps4 and others are able to see the PC media service (see attached) which it appears an issue with VLC not able to see it.


When I open the VLC app->Local Network, nothing is showing.

Is there anything that I can do from my end for it to work again?

I guess those Apple and AmazonFirestick APP should upgrade to use SMB 2 or 3
