Is it possible to have VLC automatically use "english" subtitles with "forced" in their name, and if there are no forced then have it not display anything? I have looked for a long time, spent hours reading online and tinkering with the VLC settings and it seems I can either get it to play forced subtitles if available but will always open the next available if there is no forced, otherwise I have to select the 'forced' track for every video I watch.
It is a bit of a problem for me because I watch a lot of tv shows and movies that have foreign speaking parts and I dont really want to select the sub track every time nor do I want to disable it every other time when there is no forced available. Sometimes there are two or more 'forced' tracks so would be great if it selected english - forced by default but at this stage I would just love if it opened any "forced' subtitle automatically and did not open anything if there is no "forced" available.
This is my current settings and no subtitles open even if they have "forced" in their name as can be seen in the second picture.
