I have made a video with my smartphone and I want to record it on a dvd to be read on a portable dvd reader.
The codecs are H.264 (video) and MPEG 4AAC (audio).
The portable dvd reader needs the codecs MPEG2 (video) and MP3 (audio) so I need to transcode. I use VLC 3.0.4 (with GUI) on Ubuntu Linux 18.04.
I get the error message: VLC could not open the mp2v video encoder.
In the output file (type .ts) there is only the audio part of the video.
Please help me (It is the first time I manipulate video). Thank you.
