Move image or adjust to an edge.

Postby paquitoalba » 15 Aug 2018 21:41

Hi. First I want to thank you for this wonderful program that I have been using for years and congratulate you for it. I would like to know if the image shift function exists. I need it for the viewing of projected films. When a movie is at 1.81: 1 (for example) I would like to move the image down, making the lower black band disappear, doubling the thickness of the upper one. This would be even more comfortable if the image could be adjusted to the lower edge. For example, that in a FullHD movie with a ratio of 2.39: 1 (1920x800 px) the row of pixels number 800, coincides with the lowest row of pixels on the screen. This is useful in projections, since it would allow to keep the image as low as possible, or as high as possible (according to taste and needs) for viewing ergonomics. Also to add a black fabric curtain only at one end of the screen to increase the contrast, instead of having to add two black fabric curtains to cover the two bands in more elongated projections than the 16: 9 format. Thank you so much for your attention.
