Squelching and bubbling noises on MP3's

Postby WarrenZ » 17 Jul 2016 01:09

Greetings! Since the last VLC update (1 or 2 weeks ago) pretty much all my MP3's have squelching, bubbling and gurgling noises in the background. I don't know the proper term for these noises but they're annoying.
I noticed on other media players those noises are not there (QuickTime, MPlayerX, Flip Player, etc). Just the VLC player. Which is unfortunate because VLC is my favourite.
Is there a fix for this?

Try another audio output module:

If it doesn't help then try to reset the preferences:

The problem fixed itself with the next VLC update. Thanks.
