Does VLC 3 support video pass-through?

Does VLC 3 support video pass-through?

I understand that 3D frame-packed files must be transmitted and decoded by the 3D TV or projector via HDMI 1.4 or higher. Does VLC support video pass-through for such purposes? If not, are there other player software that does?
