No resume playback option with a custom skin

Postby ColPackard » 03 Mar 2018 23:25

Hello, I have the following problem with VLC (tried it with 2.2 and 3.0) - upon enabling the "Always" option for resuming video playback under Qt interface in Preferences, when opening the same video file, everything works okay and playback resumes. However, when I select the option of having a custom skin (i.e. not "native interface), this is no longer the case and playback cannot be resumed anymore. Is there a way around this? Resuming playback is a somewhat straightforward feature which other media players have even with custom skins. Is VLC capable of that (and am I overlooking something)? Thanks in advance!

No. This is only supported in Qt and macOS interfaces.
