VLC marquee timestamp to MP4 output

Postby pdcleven » 09 Nov 2017 20:12

I've used the marquee command to add a timestamp to webcam capture.
The native format is .AVI
I need to convert this to MP4 or anouther compressed output. (video quality is not important)

When I converted to MP$ the timestamp info wasn't present.

How to I convert and keep the marquee?

Nube here. transcode?

I turned on the marquee function and then recorded web cam.

Web cam raw output shows timestamp.
Used VLC to convert to MP4.
Now timestamp isn't present.
