Arabic on both Windows & OSX

Postby ErikWargo » 14 Sep 2017 03:24

Hoping somebody, anybody, can help me ditch these L-shaped characters on the sides of my Arabic subs. I believe it is reading order related (right to left), but cannot confirm.

Having the issue on both Windows and OSX with certain Arabic SRTs, but not all of them, thankfully. Not seeing it when I open the .SRT up. Is there something under the encoding that I'm not getting at? Any help at all would be very much appreciated.
