Subtitles not syncing with .srt files

Subtitles not syncing with .srt files

The Subtitle files are correctly timed to sync with the audio, but they are not syncing within this latest iteration (version) of VLC. IF it wasnt for the hacking, errr security, issues with subtitles I never would have updated.

I know I can manually set the delay but thats not the problem, the file and VLC is just not syncing.

One time the subtitles are out of sync by 20 seconds, the next time maybe closer to 15 seconds. Doesnt appear to be the same everytime.

Settings have been reset several times trying to figure this out.

So is there a setting that can fix this? :?:

answered that already. Yes, several times as part of troubleshooting.
