2-second pause between each song in a playlist

Hi,

I would like to add a 2 or 3-second pause between each song in my playlist.
I can paste the

vlc://pause:2

URI in VLC, but I don't like seeing these elements between each song in my playlist, and it's a bit tedious to create dozens of them.

Any better way to do this? Maybe writing a Lua plugin?
