I recently purchased 2 Kindle Fire 5th Gen and having trouble with VLC with DVD format videos. These are videos that I have copied to the optional micro SD. They are choppy. AVI and MKV movies are perfect. Also, when VLC starts the movie it just flashes through the video menu, so unable to select a chapter. I have no issues on my Android cell or PC.
