I know that the record button can be used while watching a video to create a clip of any section in the video, essentially making a cropped duplicate of the video. Does this compress the video, lose frames, or in any way lessen the quality for the newly created video? I'm mostly dealing with 1080p/30fps and 720p/60fps if it's relevant. I'm also on Windows 10, but I don't think that matters. I've tried to find more info on this but I couldn't come up with any thing. Any help is appreciated.
