Exporting the video files in a playlist.

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Exporting the video files in a playlist.

Postby Shaba1 » 09 Sep 2015 03:29

I have built a playlist on my hard drive and moved around the files to play in the sequence that I want them to display on screen. I is there a way to export/save the files in that playlist to another media such as a flash drive or external hard drive or even to another folder on the same hardrive without manually copying and pasting each one. Which would be really tedious.

I am using windows 7 home premium 64 bit with VLC 2.2.1

VLC does not support it. If you save m3u playlist in VLC, then you can export files by using a simple batch script (.bat, .cmd) or you can use an external application (AudioM, AmoK Playlist Copy): https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 88#p395688

Thanks moderi. That bat file that you referred me to in that other thread worked perfectly.
