Is there any way to prevent vlc from creating mta files every time you play a video file?

These files are not created by VLC.
Have you "AllShare" or a similar program from Samsung installed?

But they only appear after I play a file in VLC...yes I do have Allshare installed.

Uninstall AllShare and you will see that this MTA files are no longer generated.
