Rotate

Postby Pasareti » 15 Feb 2015 17:58

Just downloaded 2.1.5 in order to be able to play a video from my mobile. But the video would need a 90º rotation in order to be the right way up. Any ideas, please?

Use 2.2.0 and use the transform filter.

My 2.1.5 is "up to date"!?

"Transformation" doesn't change anything.

It seems you need to download VLC version 2.2.0 to make use of this Rotate feature.
See this recent thread: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=84969

OK, I downloaded 2.2.0 & found Rotate in Tools > Adjustments & Effects > Video Effects.
Thx.
Hopefully this is useful for you.
