Subtitle background/shadow

Postby dolled » 26 Oct 2005 22:05

How do I add a shadow? Its hard to see white font on a bright background.
For me VLC is a perfect player, but I mostly have to choose some other players because we sometimes cannot read the subtitles in a bright background.

If other players fail to play a file, we return back to VLC. VLC opens almost every file type and never freezes like the others...

Thanks....

This is a big issue, that needs to be fixed. There's a lot of people requesting this feature, because the readability of the subtitles in VLC is far from good.

Let's put our hopes on the next release.
