How to play a specified video track with command line?

How to play a specified video track with command line?

Postby wangludong » 17 Sep 2012 10:31

Hi guys,
I have a Blu-ray Disc with three video tracks, everytime i play it, vlc opens three windows to play each video track simultaneously.
So, how can i play a specified video track with command line?
Thanks!

Use VLC 2.1.0 for a fix for this.

Or deselect all video tracks in the UI and select the first one.

Does anyone know what changed in that old version? VLC still opens a new window to render the alternate video track in 2.1.5.

I see that https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/2407 is still open, so I think 2.1.0 had some other change that addressed this issue.
