Hardware decoding on slower (agp) cards

Hi, I have the same problem that is outlined in this thread (except with a Radeon HD 3450.)
The audio keeps playing but only 1 frame or so of video is ever displayed. Apparently the right architecture for AGP was never added (such as is described in the thread) and so the card is too slow for GPU decoding in VLC (however, as in the thread, MPC-HC works fine with GPU decoding.) I prefer VLC over MPC-HC so I've been hoping with each VLC update (especially with VLC 2.0 or 2.1.0-rc1) that the problem would eventually be fixed, but unfortunately I don't believe it has :(.

In case my problem is different somehow I'll include log & some info:

Radeon HD 3450 (AGP), Windows 7 32bit, Pentium 4 3.0 GHz (w/ hyperthreading), 3GB RAM

My hope is to possibly renew interest in this (missing/lacking) support for some AGP cards and maybe have it fixed it a future release of VLC :D

I appreciate the work that has gone into making VLC and also any help you can provide.

Nope, it won't work until we enable GPU indirect rendering.
