DVD rip not working

I'm trying to rip a dvd - it's a dvd somebody burnt for me (not a movie)

After the first few steps, when it should start ripping, nothing happens. A few times it sounded like the dvd started turning, but only for a second and then it stopped.

I don't understand what I"m doing wrong.

It stops after 'convert' and doesn't start streaming.

I'm using windows 7
