i've got a problem with a video.
so first of all i downloaded the video in .mkv format. seeing as not all devices support .mkv i decided to remux the said video into .mp4 format using YAMB.
When i play the video.mp4 in VLC there is a part (two seconds) of the video that is pixelated. (just to point out i am mad man when it comes to quality )
Anyway, i thought that maybe there is something wrong with the video.mkv source file,so i played it in vlc to check, but it wasn't pixelated.
Now i presumed that maybe the muxing went wrong somewhere so i repeated the process - same result, video went pixelated in the exact same place when palyed with VLC.
so i tried a different media player 'Media Player Classic' to play the video.mp4 and there was no pixelation.
can someone explain to me why this is happening when i play the video.mp4 in vlc.
and yes i know that a sensible person would just use 'Media player classic' since it plays the video fine, but i prefer VLC and would like to know why this is happening.
any replies appreciated, and in advance thank you.
