Deinterlace ... forever

Postby xerces8 » 02 Apr 2014 23:32

Recently I gained access to TV streams and that means interlaced video.

Is there an combination of options for deinterlacing that I can set and forget?

I was thinking about turning on "Deinterlace / automatic " and selecting a "good" deinterlace mode.

I am looking for 60 refreshes per second (called "doubler" on VLC wiki) and of course acceptable quality.
I tried yadif2, but I'm not satisfied with the results. Does it have any options to tweak?

Or maybe I should just "not watch TV" ;)

Regards,
David
