Video playback issues

Hi there,

Since I upgraded to 2.1.2, I've had issues with playback, namely, it only plays a small sliver of the video on the left side of the screen. I have tried playing with zoom, crop, and different video playing preferences to no avail.

Here is a shot of what it looks like on my laptop.


Not sure how to get it to show the whole picture...

CHange video output to DirectDraw in preferences...

I have tried that as well as other output options.
Ah, but closing the program and reopening works! I forgot that step. Thank you.

So I use my TV as an extended desktop, and it seems to be affecting playback when I move vlc to the TV/monitor, but plays fine on my actual computer.

Thoughts?

Then, disable overlay in preferences.
