Cyrillic Font Inconsistent Display

Postby micks_ketches » 29 Dec 2013 20:30

When trying to play my russian music, only the first song in my playlist manages to render in proper russian. It's quite strange, at some points when I've launched up VLC, the entire playlist is rapidly displayed with proper fonts but quickly goes back to these garbled characters (haven't been able to consistently reproduce). This is symptomatic of incorrectly encoded ID3 tags. You should reencode the tags as Unicode.
