Why was 200% volume taken down?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Why was 200% volume taken down?

Postby BRING200VOLUMEBACK » 07 Dec 2013 21:37

I just downloaded the latest version and I was utterly disappointed to see 125% instead of 200% maximum volume. Dumbest decision ever made for VLC! The main reason I always used VLC was the ability to maximize the volume, because my headphones are kinda low and windows 7 also lowers the usual volume.

Uninstalled, gonna search for an older version now.

Just unlocked it from options.

It's not as loud as before!
