Subtitles load and name

Postby tidiatos » 10 Nov 2013 23:38

I have a problem with subtitles. vlc 2.1.0 On older versions I could load subtitles with any name not necessary same as the movie. Now this is impossible I have to rename the srt files exactly as the movie files. Also no way to load any other like before so I can choose a different language, one very annoying is that if vlc starts playing a movie the subs can not be loaded if the srt files as I mention above have a different name and I have rename them after I have start the playback. Also srt have to be in the same folder with the movie now. Ok solution uninstall and reinstall an older version but the point is to use a new one.
