Correct Crop/Aspect Ratio for 1600p Surround 7680x1600

Postby dinglesniff » 07 Aug 2013 23:35

I was wondering if someone could help me.

I am trying to play 1080p & 720p movies on my 3 30" 1600p monitors.

I set the custom crop and aspect ratio to 805:160 & 768:160.

The problem is that it squeezes people so that they look like midgets. What would be a good custom Crop / Aspect ratio for this resolution on 3 16x10 monitors?

Thanks!

You've got the right aspect ratio there, but the question is whether or not you have your 3-monitors set up to be recognized as one giant, 7680x1600 monitor, or three separate monitors. VLC will probably work better with the one giant monitor setup, but the Windows control panel, and both AMD and nVidia control panels, all default to use the 3-separate monitor setup (because that is usually what you want). Try the other way.
