Speed matching?

Postby wsdave » 04 Aug 2013 23:26

This question may be in the completely wrong area. Please correct me if it is.

My GF has GoPro head cam video of her jogging at a known and consistent speed (steps per minute). When she's running on the treadmill, she uses music to keep her pace up, choosing songs that have the BPM she wants to run at. What I'd like to do is have VLC either "listen" (via the computer mic) for the beat of the music and match the video playback speed to the BPM, or (ideally) have VLC be able to read the audio computer (Traktor DJ software) output of BPM and auto match the playback speed.

Can VLC do such things? 3rd party software? Different video player?

Thanks

Dave

Can you suggest some 3rd party solutions? Not being a computer guy, I barely know how to ask the question.

Thanks.

What you're asking for is very specific and I can't give you any advice, sorry.
