Problem parsing http username with @

Postby WhatAWorld » 16 Jun 2013 13:19

The command line version of VLC appears to have a problem parsing an http basic auth username with an @. It tries to connect to the address right after the @, instead of parsing it as part of the auth. Is there a workaround for this?

@ should be percent-encoded. Please refer to the IETF specification for further details.
