Video stops after starting

I have the following problem: video starts, plays with lags for 1 or 2 seconds and stops. Audio plays well, but the picture freezes. Restarting, reinstalling (even the latest version), restarting - nothing helps. I have this problem already for several months, but I cannot find any hint about the problem.

I have Toshiba laptop Satellite A660 and have Windows 7 64-bit.

Can anybody say what is wrong?

Maybe a video output problem or your driver (video).
Have you tried selecting another video output?
If not help, try updating your video card driver.

Thank you for the advice. Indeed it helped. After changing video out from "default" to "Windows GDI" the video returned. Thank you.
