Crop setting resets with multiple resolution playlist

I saved my crop setting to 16:9 but when I open multiple videos with different resolutions, it crops the first video fine but the crop setting resets to the default when it opens another video with different resolution. Is this a known problem? Thanks. (VLC2.0.6 + OS X 10.8.3)
