Vlc skiping dvd menus and playing title

Hi! I am unable to play dvd menu's on vlc player on mac osx and windows 7. It directly skips to 'title movie' and after the movie ends it goes to the main menu. I created the dvd in Apple DVD studio pro 4. The dvd plays fine on dvd players and other media player on computer. I am facing this problem for long time now. The only trick to solve this problem so that my clients who are not so tech savy is to make the dvd 'main home menu' as 'title' to get the movie menus after aspect ratio warnings to get played on vlc rather than them going to navigation to skip title movie manually to on & off subtitles since many of them won't know right click subtitle shortcuts or navigation tools.

Can you fix this problem in future updates.

P.S: I updated my vlc to the latest version.

Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: ALL
Input codecs -> Access modules -> DVD with menus
Untick the option "Start directly in menu".
Save the preferences then exit and restart VLC.
