MPEG DASH support

Postby deivit » 05 Feb 2013 09:25

Hi all,

I am checking VLC support for MPEG DASH ad I would like to know if VLC implementation has support for live profiles. I've been playing with for a while and I am starting to think it might be a no feature of vlc dash implementation, as MPEG-DASH is not a mature standard at all. I am using nightly builds of version 2.1 by the way.

On the other hand I couldn't manage to play a stream with mpegts profile and segments, does any one know if this is still something an uncoded feature?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,
David

So far, it seems not completely implemented.

Yeah, I thought so. I just wanted to be sure before some more time trying to understand what was wrong with my .mpd file.

Thanks. Cheers,
