problems with vcd backup copy and vlc player

Postby macgallant » 07 Feb 2004 22:40

I'm running Mac OSX 10.3.2 Panther
Powermac Dual G4 867Mhz, 1GB ram, Radeon 9000 Pro 64mb vid card
and am using VLC 0.7.1
I made a backup copy of my one of my VCDs with Toast 6 Titanium. When I play it it crashes when it is transitioning from Title 1 to Title 2.
The error message:

An error has occured which probably prevented the execution of your request.
VCD: could not read block 7661
VCD: could not read sector 7661

It would play in MacVCDX without problems and it would work in my DVD player.

Here's what's on the console log:
console.log:

It's a known issue that Toast burns discs that VLC cannot understand.
The reason for this is unknown.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
