VLC to use a Specific NIC on a machine with multiple NIC

Hello,

Is there a way within VLC to tell it to use a specific NIC? I have one NIC dedicated for trading and another NIC specifically for media. I don't want the VLC traffic to interfere with the trading traffic. I use to use an application called Wave which allowed me to select the NIC from a drop down menu. I have tried the -miface command but that doesn't seem to work.
