Problem of taking snapshot & Volume change during Recording

Problem of taking snapshot & Volume change during Recording

Postby pc323 » 17 Nov 2012 18:14

I'm going to watch a TV channel and record it by using sout(display+file://).
It works and I would like to take some snapshot but it can't.

Refer to this post (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=103953),
It seems that changing the volume when using sout function is impossible.

I can take the snapshot during the recording by using the Qt4GUI "Record" function.
However, it will dump all of the streams in the same dvb-frequency although I have used the ":program" parameter.

Is there any way to dump some of the streams (select some PID to dump) using the Qt4GUI "Record"?
Otherwise, any alternative solution to display the TV channel (QuickSnap is available) and record this channel?

Thanks a lot :D

first, the first part is normal, since display is not a proper video output nor a correct video output.

To dump only one stream, change the preferences in advanced, input, and change the "prefer native recording' option.
