Playback Order Problem in 64bit version.

Postby saltyseadog » 25 Oct 2012 11:26

Yesterday I found out that VLC Player had released a 64bit version. Having a Windows Home Premium 7 installation I uninstalled my VLC 32bit v 1.0.3? install and did a clean install of the latest 64bit version. I installed the Skins pack download from here and chose the Heaven skin. Everything so far works as it should apart from the playback of music albums which load up wrong. I right click as I always have on the album folder and choose the play with VLC player option but instead of loading tracks 1-14 eg on the playlist, I get it loading trk 1 then trks 9,10,11,12 and then trks 2-8 and finally trks 13 and 14. At first I thought it was the random play option but it isn't then I thought that it was the Heaven Skin but loaded several different skins including the default and had the same problem with them all. Is there a workround for this or is it a bug in the new 64bit version of VLC?.

This is probably a bug.
